Scottish actor and improviser, a product of south side of Edinburgh. Born and raised in Edinburgh, Paul grew up loving comedy in many different forms: from Morecambe & Wise and The Two Ronnies to Red Dwarf and Whose Line is it Anyway?. After graduating from the University of Edinburgh in 2008 with a degree in Computer Science, Paul soon found that the computing field could not fully satisfy his yearning for acting, performing or comedy. Paul got his first opportunity to perform as part of the Beltane Society's Samhuinn 2009, playing the role of the jester "Lordy Lordy". The thrill of performing and entertaining lead him to pursue improv comedy training from To Be Continued... (now TBC Improv), leading to performances with and eventual membership to the troupe in 2010. This also led him to quit his job in computing to train as and pursue a career in acting (creatively has a great change, for his bank balance less so). In addition to TBC Improv, Paul is also a member of the improv group The Spontaneous Players, where you can spot him pretending to be wizards in "Spontaneous Potter" or detectives in "Spontaneous Sherlock" - how terribly exciting! Alongside UCB training, Paul has also done improv courses/classes with Magnet Theater, iO, Second City and Hoopla Impro. Oh yes, he's done his fair share of Zip Zap Zops! Acting, improv, singing, dancing, programming, is there anything he can't do?... The answer is yes, many things, but let's focus on what he can do :P...
